Job Descriptioniii Technologies is seeking a 5-8 years experienced Senior ABAP Developer cum Lead with extensive programming experience with ABAP OO. You will be responsible to lead a team of ABAP developers as well as guide and perform complex ABAP OO programming tasks. Manage RICEF objects and ensure that correct solution approach is followed. Review functional specifications during handover of functional specifcations to the RICEF development team. Conduct technical design reviews on specifications written by RICEF development team and approve the technical specifications. Manage the deliverables of the RICEF objects against project milestones and timeline. Responsible for integration of the RICEF objects with the base product. Review the development status of each RICEF object and validate usage of appropriate tools and technologies provided by SAP standard product. You will report to the Development Manager on the project on a periodic basis.
Experience & Skill Requirements
- Review functional specification and validate details for handover to development team
- Strong ABAP OO programming skills
- Sound knowledge of programming with ALV, Workflows, ALE, EDI, BADIs
- Performance tuning of technical objects
- Technical specifications writing and conducting reviews
- Manage team of people and provide technical guidance
- Integrate RICEF objects with the base SAP product
- Experience working with ECC 6.0 and also SAP XI (PI)
- Write and review unit tests
- Debug, manage and guide development team to resolve technical issues on project
NotesPreferable Skills to have:
- SAP BDT (Business Data Toolset)
- SAP Business Rule Framework (BRF)
- SAP data conversion and archiving
- SAP IS Insurance experience an added plus
- Business Partners in SAP
